Facebook and Foursquare both updated their iOS applications today with new features. Facebook for iOS adds the ability to see who's logged into Facebook Messenger with a simple swipe to the left, adds a new favorites feature in the messenger app, and adds the ability to send gifts to Facebook friends. The app also makes it easier to share multiple photos at a time. The new version of Foursquare for iOS adds a new rating system for venues viewed in the Explore tab. Foursquare devised its own rating system for venues based on likes and dislikes, check-ins, tips, and general popularity of the venue. Facebook and Foursquare for iOS are both free upgrades from the App Store.
