Firefox Browser Now Works on Older Android Phones

Mozilla recently announced a new version of its Firefox browser for the Android platform that is compatible with a much wider range of smartphones. Previously, Firefox only worked with somewhat-newer devices based on ARMv7 processors running Android 2.2 Gingerbread and up. Now, Firefox also works on devices based on ARMv6 processors. This new support for the older processor architecture means the browser is available to older devices. Mozilla believes this is important because it says some 500 million Android phones run on ARMv6 architecture. Firefox for Android is a free download from the Google Play Store.

Great on the desktop...

...but not nearly as intuitive on Android. I've tried to like FF for Android a few times--but I keep going to back to UC Browser.
