Cricket Revamps Calling Plans
Apr 4, 2005, 5:14 PM by (staff)
Cricket, the subscription based service from Leap Wireless, is further simplifying its simple, unlimited calling plans. Unlimited Classic is similar to Cricket's original plans, offering unlimited local calls for $35. Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Access both include unlimited local and long distance to the continental US and Hawaii. Unlimited Plus is a bare-bones plan costing $40, while Access includes advanced calling features plus unlimited texts, picture messages and AOL instant messenger for $45. The plans are now more similar to that of competitor Metro PCS, and better reflect the pricing structure of Jump, Leap's recently launched prepaid calling service.
