Dec 5, 2012, 9:18 AM by Eric M. Zeman

Research In Motion today announced a significant update to the Facebook application for BlackBerry 7 smartphones. The app received a visual refresh and gains yet more integration with RIM's BlackBerry Messenger product. It is now easier to share PINs and start BBM chats from within Facebook. The new version of Facebook makes it easier to unfriend people from the mobile app. Facebook also now includes higher-resolution thumbnails of the user's photo library and loads them faster. Facebook 3.3 for BlackBerry smartphones is a free download from BlackBerry World.
