Microsoft today announced some updates to the web-based version of the Windows Phone Store. One feature added to the Store is universal search, which ties together search results from all categories of the store in one results page. The web store can now also be used to download applications and store them on microSD cards for installation at a later time. The Windows Phone Store on the web can be used to reinstall apps when setting up new devices with an existing Microsoft account. Last, the web store is available in 37 new markets, pushing the total number of markets to 112.
