Alltel has begun selling the RIM Blackberry 7250 through its wireless business channel. It will not be available in retail stores until this summer. The device will cost $360 with a 1 year contract, and $300 with a 2 year contract. Alltel is charging $50 per month for unlimited data on the Blackberry, but offers a $5 discount for those who also subscribe to a voice plan on the handset. Separately, Alltel announced they have completed a combined purchase and trade with Cingular for various licenses and network partners.
