Nokia and RIM Reach Patent Agreement, Call Off Lawsuits

Nokia today announced that it has reached a patent licensing agreement with Research In Motion. RIM will provide Nokia with a one-time royalty payment and then on-going payments for use of Nokia's patents related to Wi-Fi. The exact terms were undisclosed. The agreement also marks an end to all litigation between the two companies worldwide.
