Swype Living Language Crowd Sources New Words
Jan 7, 2013, 10:45 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Nuance today announce Swype Living Language, a tool that analyzes language and word usage in real time and continuously updates Swype's language dictionaries. According to Nuance, the feature is opt-in and delivers trending words and phrases to Android handsets as it learns them from other users. The living language feature is being offered to other platforms as an SDK. The Swype beta keyboard is also being updated today with a new grammar correction tool. It will quickly analyze each sentence and offer suggestions if it recognizes improper use of grammar. The newest beta of Swype is available for download from Nuance's web site.
