Jan 7, 2013, 11:07 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Audience today announced the earSmart eS515 Smart Sound Processor for mobile devices. The eS515 can process three microphones and has hardware-accelerated algorithms for background noise elimination, separating spoken voices from other ambient sound. The eS515 supports Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) for better voice command performance, Mobile Audio Zoom for recording video, and Super Wideband support for VoIP applications. The eS515 doesn't just produce clearer calls, it also helps capture clearer audio when recording video or other media. The mobile processor is already sampling to Audience's customers.
