Sprint today announced that it plans to launch Windows Phone 8 devices from HTC and Samsung later this year. Details regarding the exact phones, pricing, and availability will be shared a later date. All Sprint did say was that the phones will have unlimited 3G/4G service for plans that start at $80 per month. Sprint has not offered a new Windows Phone device in nearly two years. AT&T, T-Mobile USA, Verizon Wireless and others have all launched Windows Phone 8 devices in recent months. Sprint's Windows Phone 8 hardware won't arrive until closer to the summer.
