Google today announced a new Beta Channel for its Chrome browser. The tool lets Android smartphones and tablets access the latest beta builds of the Chrome browser before the final versions are made available to the general public. Google warns that bugs will likely show up in the beta builds of Chrome, and it hopes beta users will take the time to provide feedback about any problems they encounter. The Beta Channel will allow Android device owners to run both the beta version and current full version of Chrome at the same time on their phone or tablet. In addition to the new Beta Channel, Google released a new beta of Chrome itself, which it says makes improvements to the Octane Engine and general performance. The Beta Channel is available from the Google Play Store, and can be used to download the latest beta of Chrome.
