Samsung recently published information about a new handset that will soon be sold by both StraightTalk and Net10. The SGH-S730G, called the Galaxy Discover, is a simple slab-style smartphone that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Discover features a 3.5-inch HVGA display and is powered by an 800MHz processor. Other specs include a 3-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and support for 32GB microSD cards. The Discover is limited to 7.2Mbps HSDPA mobile broadband speeds. The Samsung Galaxy Discover has not yet been added to either StraighTalk or Net10's web sites, so exact pricing and availability is not yet known.
