Spotify for Windows Phone 8 Arrives in Beta Form
Feb 8, 2013, 12:00 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Spotify has released a beta version of its music sharing and discovery application for the Windows Phone 8 platform. Spotify Beta Version 2.0 for Windows Phone 8 is a free download, though it requires a monthly subscription fee for playback on mobile devices (same is true of Android and iOS versions). The app lets WP8 device owners search through millions of tracks, explore friends' playlists, stream playlists via cellular and Wi-Fi or cache playlists for offline playback, as well as star tracks and create playlists on the fly. Spotify also links to users' Facebook accounts for sharing.
