Google Now Widget Arrives for Jelly Bean Devices

Google today updated the Google Search application for Android devices running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and up. The update offers several new features, the most distinct being home screen and lock screen widgets for the Google Now feature. Google Now offers personalized information, such as traffic, weather, and news. Other additional functions include movie passes from Fandango, movie ratings from Rotten Tomatoes, real estate listings from Zillow, a new music button, and support for college sports in the U.S. The update is a free download from the Google Play Store.
