SwiftKey 4 Improves Word Prediction with 'Flow'
Feb 20, 2013, 8:07 AM by Eric M. Zeman
SwiftKey today made a new version of its swiping keyboard available to Android smartphones. SwiftKey 4 builds upon previous releases with new word prediction software that not only helps auto-complete individual words, but guesses at what word will come next in the sentence. According to SwiftKey, users can type entire sentences without lifting their finger from the keyboard. The new keyboard also makes it easier to correct mistakes, learns individual user typing behaviors better, and adds support for six new languages. The application is on sale for $1.99 for a limited time (normally $3.99), and is a free upgrade for those who've already purchased earlier versions of the app.
