Flickr today updated its iOS photo application with new features, improved usability, and bug fixes. Flickr now supports faster uploading and makes it easier to save photos from the Photostream to the camera roll. The app now automatically saves original photo files to the camera roll in addition to edited versions. The app makes it simple to tag contacts in photos, as well as receive notifications when mentioned by contacts. Lightbox view photos are displayed in higher resolution, and the app can now access the iPhone's volume up button to take photos. Flickr for iOS is a free download from the App Store.
