N-Trig today announced the DuoSense Pen 2, an advanced stylus for Android and Windows Phone smartphones and tablets. The Pen and its system-on-a-chip controller module are available to smartphone and tablet makers, and include improved pressure sensitivity, hover performance, and palm rejection. According to N-Trig, the DuoSense Pen 2 feels more like wiring on paper than on glass. It is being offered in 9.5mm, 8mm and 5.5mm diameters. The 9.5mm size is already in production, while the other two are sampling and expected to become available during the second quarter.
