Yahoo Acquires Jybe Recommendation Engine

Yahoo today announced that it has acquired Jybe for an undisclosed sum. Jybe, which has five employees, all of which are formerly from Yahoo, makes and markets a personalized recommendation application. According to Yahoo, the individual app will be shut down, but the recommendation engine within the app will be added to other Yahoo products over time. All five employees are being rehired by Yahoo as part of the acquisition.
