LinkedIn Buys Pulse

LinkedIn today announced that it has purchased social news reader Pulse. Pulse provides an Android and iOS app that lets users sync and read stories from a variety of web and social network sources in a unique visual presentation. LinkedIn, which has been ramping up its publishing and news services, believes Pulse is a good fit for its plans moving forward. LinkedIn paid $90 million for Pulse.
