Apr 18, 2013, 7:09 AM by Eric M. Zeman

LinkedIn today made available a new version of its mobile application for both the Android and iOS platforms. The app received a significant visual overhaul that LinkedIn says is simpler to use, and brings new importance to the news stream. Users can now invite, follow, like, share, and comment on content from the stream of their contacts' updates. The app also adds new personalized and customizable navigation to make it quicker to find the content/contacts you want. Last, it adds the ability to follow what LinkedIn calls "influencers" for even more content. LinkedIn for Android and iOS are free downloads from their respective app stores.
