Microsoft Beta-Testing Facebook App for Windows Phone

Microsoft today announced a new beta version of Facebook for its Windows Phone platform. The beta app, which Microsoft cautions may not be entirely stable, brings new support for user-requested features, including Timeline, high-resolution photos, and easier post sharing. The beta will not show up in the Windows Phone Store. Instead, it must be downloaded directly from Microsoft. Microsoft said the current version of Facebook in the Windows Phone Store will remain available, and beta testers can use both the beta and current versions of Facebook side-by-side on the same device. Microsoft hopes that those who take a chance on the beta application will be willing to provide feedback about the app.
