Palm has dropped the antenna from its CDMA Palm smartphone - and sped things up a bit too.

Palm has just announced a new version of the Palm OS Treo for CDMA networks. While we work up an in-depth review of it, we thought we'd give you a peak at what it has to offer. From the outside it looks like the Treo 750, except that the navigation keys are different since the 755p runs Palm instead of Windows Mobile. But on the inside, it's like a Treo 700p, only faster. Nice Treo 650 Review

The Palm OS is very familiar to most smartphone users, so a review of the new Treo 755p should focus on any improvements on the Treo 700p.

In comparison to the Treo 700p...
Is the screen brighter/whiter?
Is the speaker louder/less distorted when playing ringtones or using the speaker phone?
Does it handle MIDI files with elegance?
Are the system fonts different or more anti-aliased?
Is the speaker-phone full or half-duplex?
Is there improved handling of the "push enterprise messaging?"
How does the smaller SD-Mini card fare compared to the full 4GB SD Card?
How does the Calendar look in place of the phone dialer on the home screen?
Is it Palm OS 5.4.2 or a greater version?
How fast does it recover from a soft reset?
Is the rese...

No kidding. Because it looks like a Treo 750 you think your audience is Treo 750 owners who have never used Palm OS. ๐Ÿคจ

Review

More like a Palm OS Video Tour, but whatever. The 755p still looks nice. The dark grey's a little depressing though. Come on Palm, bring some color over here like with the 680s!
dark grey? thing thing comes in two colors, dk blue and red.

Sorry, I totally misread your message. I thought you were asking for help with your 700w. It was really, really late... ๐Ÿคญ

Problem with 700w

I have a problem where if I get a call waiting call and don't answer it the phone goes into stand by. Could you check if thats an issue? Also does the bluetooth work well? With my 700w its scratchy
Try a Treo 750. It's on AT&T, so that will solve 99.9% of your issues ๐Ÿ˜
