Wells Fargo Offering Text Message Receipts at ATMs
Jun 24, 2013, 10:43 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Wells Fargo today announced that its customers may now choose to receive receipts via text message when using the company's own automated teller machines. Receipts may be printed at the ATM, emailed to the customer's on-file email address, and now sent via text to the customer's on-file mobile phone number. The service is available to all Wells Fargo's online and mobile banking customers. Wells Fargo said the new option comes in response to customers' wishes to have more options and to reduce paper waste. The service is available at some 12,000 ATMs around the country.
