Google today announced the availability of a new version of Google Now for Android devices. The latest version of Google Now adds two new cards for information about television programming and Google Offers. According to Google, Android device owners will be able to get more information about live television, such as cast or actor details, when using the app on the same network as an internet-connected television set. The other new card will deliver reminders for saved Google Offers when the owner happens to be near a store where an offer is available. Google Now is part of the main Google Search app, which is a free download from the Play Store.
