Nokia Updates HERE Apps for Windows Phone
Jul 9, 2013, 8:18 AM by Eric M. Zeman

Nokia today made available updates to its HERE Drive, HERE Drive+, and HERE Transit apps for Windows Phone 8 smartphones. The HERE Drive apps both gain new traffic and commuting features, including a new user interface that incorporates live traffic conditions. The Drive apps both learn the user's daily commute and the expanded My Commute feature provides estimated travel times along routes that are driven daily. The app will automatically suggest the best route and information will be pushed to the Live Tile for easier viewing. The feature supports multiple daily routes. The new version of Nokia Transit has been significantly overhauled to make it easier to use by incorporating more of Windows Phone's Metro theme elements. Nokia HERE Drive, HERE Drive+, and HERE Transit are available to all Windows Phones. The new apps should arrive in the Windows Phone Store by the end of the week.
