Gmail for iOS Gains Better Google App Integration
Aug 28, 2013, 7:27 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Google updated the Gmail application for iOS devices recently and it now works better with other Google apps. Specifically, links embedded in emails can be opened directly into Google+ and Google Drive, if the device owner so chooses, rather than open in the browser. The improved Gmail app also handles attachments better with bigger thumbnails and full-screen previews. Gmail is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
