Sprint Spreads LTE to 70 New Markets, Covers 300 Total

Sprint today announced a significant expansion of its LTE 4G footprint. The company says 70 new markets have access to its faster data network, including Birmingham, Ala.; Little Rock, Ark.; San Diego, Calif.; Orlando and Panama City, Fla.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Louisville, Ky.; and Green Bay and Madison, Wisc., among others. Sprint said that its LTE network now reaches 300 markets. The company continues to roll out HD Voice, which it says will be available to 85 million POPs by the end of the year. Sprint also continues to upgrade its network, with more Sprint Spark and LTE network coverage planned for 2014.

Patience Is a Virtue.
However, the areas that have been upgraded, have been significantly improved over the old in regards to 3G/4G performance. Signal strength has also improved.
It is definitely worth the wait and headaches. Speeds have been stellar.
