Sony Mobile today announced that it is making Android 4.3 available to a handful of its smartphones. Android 4.3 is now available for the Xperia Z, the Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, and the Xperia Tablet Z. In addition to the core system update, Sony is modernizing its own apps across all the devices. For example, it is adding the Sony Smart Social Camera application, and improved versions of Messaging, MyXperia, Smart Connect, Small apps, TrackID, Sony Select, and the Sony Walkman app. Last, Sony is launching Xperia Themes, which are user interface theme packs that allow users to tweak the appearance of their device.
