BlackBerry Hires Former HTC, Sony Exec as Device Lead

BlackBerry has hired Ron Louks to serve as president of devices and emerging solutions. Louks has worked for both HTC and Sony Ericsson in the past. Louks is being tasked with reviving BlackBerry's flagging smartphone division. The company recently announced that it will co-develop a new low-cost smartphone with Foxconn as it hopes to kickstart a comeback.
