AT&T's LTE Network Surpasses 270 Million POPs

AT&T today said that its LTE 4G network now covers more than 270 million Americans. The company launched LTE in a handful of markets this week, including Hope, Ark.; Greeley, Colo.; Okeechobee, Fla.; Ames and Iowa City, Iowa; Battle Creek and Jackson, Mich.; Branson, Hannibal, and Mexico, Mo.;Keene, N.H.; Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; Lebanon, Pa.; Stephenville, Texas, and a handful of others. AT&T will flesh out its coverage to 30 million more POPs by the end of the year until it reaches about 97% of Americans.
