Inq Mobile Shutting Down
Jan 31, 2014, 8:15 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Inq Mobile recently indicated via its web site that it will cease operations effective today. Inq Mobile launched in 2008 and fielded the first "Facebook phone." The company followed its first effort with several more, but eventually stopped making hardware to focus on software and mobile apps for Android devices. One of its current apps, Material, has already published its final edition. Another, called SO.HO, will remain operational, but will no longer be updated. The company didn't say why it is closing.
