Google Publishes Chromecast SDK for Mobile Apps

Google today made a software developers kit available to application writers that will allow them to add Chromecasting ability to their apps. Chromecast is already available from a number of Android and iOS apps, and lets device owners push content from their phone or tablet to a Chromecast unit attached to their TV set. Google hopes that offering the SDK will expand the number of mobile apps taking advantage of Chromecast.
