Microsoft is working on an update to Skype for the Windows Phone 8.1 platform. The new version of the app incorporates Skype into the native phone app. Users will be able to start a traditional voice call and automatically transition to a Skype call (or video call) thanks to new buttons. Microsoft didn't say when the new version of Skype will be available.
