BlackBerry Version of Twitter Gains Photo DMs
May 1, 2014, 11:27 AM by Eric M. Zeman
BlackBerry today published Twitter for BlackBerry version 10.3. The updated app adds a handful of new tools, including the ability to compose and save draft tweets that can be sent later. Twitter adds the ability to swipe between the Timeline, Activity, and Discover tabs, which puts the app inline with features found in the Android and iOS versions. The app has been given new photo powers and can now send pictures via Direct Message, turn photos on or off in the timeline, and retake a picture before sending if the first attempt doesn't turn out. Last, Twitter for BlackBerry adds age gating, which lets people verify their age for accounts that require it. Twitter 10.3 for BlackBerry is free to download from the BlackBerry World Store.
