Facebook Messenger Adds Video Clip Feature

Facebook has pushed out an update to its Messenger application for both Android and iOS and added several new features. The most significant new feature is the ability to record and send 15-second video clips to other Facebook users from within the app itself. This feature is found in competing chat app Snapchat, and will be part of the native messaging app in Apple's iOS 8 when it arrives later this year. The app also makes it easier to share photos and to insert stickers. The iOS version adds "Big Likes," which Facebook says are an even bigger version of its thumbs up graphic. Facebook Messenger for Android and iOS is free to download from the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store, respectively.
