LG to Improve the G3's Keyboard
Jul 10, 2014, 7:27 AM by Eric M. Zeman
LG today announced a pending software update to the G3's Smart Keyboard application that will bestow it with new features. The added functions include emoji suggestions based on keywords; application-based text suggestions that learn to predict salutations for specific contacts; improved next-word suggestions; bilingual word suggestions that don't require users to swap languages; and improved trace input, which allows users to swipe words rather than type them. LG said the keyboard app will be updated once the G3's global launch is complete. The software will be pushed to users' devices automatically. The G3 Smart Keyboard is powerful in that it allows users to adjust the height of the keys to better suit their hands and typing style.
