Upcoming Cadillacs and other GM vehicles will include dual-standard wireless chargers from Visteon. The charging pads will support phones with either the Qi (WPC) or Powermat (PMA) standard. The first car to sport the new charger will be the 2015 ATS, followed by the CTS, then the Escalade. Other GM vehicles are expected to receive the solution by the end of the year. The chargers work by simply placing the phone on top of the flat charging surface, which may be located in the center console.
