Flipboard recently shed its beta status and launched as a full app in the Windows Phone Store. The app was promised more than a year ago and arrives without the "flipping" gesture that made the app so popular with iOS and Android users. It is a socially-connected newsreader that creates digital magazines on the fly using web content. Flipboard is free to download, but requires Windows Phone 8.1.
