Google recently updated its Google Fit and Google Translate applications for Android devices. Google Fit gains several new and compelling features, including support for more than 100 new activities, experimental step detection (for walking when the watch isn't connected to a phone), and improved compatibility with Android Wear. The app also sees some bug fixes and performance improvements. Google Translate is now compatible with 90 languages from around the world. The recent update added 10 new ones, including Chichewa, Malagasy, Sesotho, Malayalam, Myanmar, Sinhala, Sudanese, Kazakh, Tajik, and Uzbek. Both apps are free to download from the Google Play Store.
