CDMA Firefly In The Works
Jan 2, 2006, 12:11 AM by (staff)

The FCC has just approved a CDMA version of the Firefly phone for kids. The phone appears to have the same specifications as the GSM version including two one touch dial buttons, emergency call functions, and multi color LED lights. Phones for young children are gaining momentum in the US. Cingular has recently launched the GSM version of the Firefly, and Verizon has launched the LG Migo. There is no indication which CDMA carriers will pick up this model.
