Android Messenger Updated with GIF Support

Google today pushed out a minor update to its Messenger application for Android phones. The primary new feature included in the update is support for GIFs, which can be used to liven up conversations. The app also has a new home screen widget and general performance improvements. Google Messenger, which provides SMS and MMS messaging, is free to download from the Google Play Store.
