Opera Picks Up SurfEasy for Secure Browsing

Opera today announced that it has acquired a Toronto-based company called SurfEasy. The company provides an easy-to-use VPN for protecting customers' online privacy and security on smartphones. SurfEasy will let Opera encrypt all data sent/received from its smartphone browsers, so users can feel more secure when surfing the web. Opera did not disclose terms of the acquisition.
