Microsoft Enables Music Playback from OneDrive
Mar 19, 2015, 7:44 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Microsoft has made it possible for people to access their personal music collections from OneDrive across their Windows devices with the Xbox Music app. A new "music" folder has been added to OneDrive. Any music stored in that folder will be available in users' Xbox Music apps for Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8.1, the Xbox 360/One, and via the web. The OneDrive music service doesn't require Microsoft's Xbox Music Pass, but customers who do have the pass will gain 100GB of OneDrive storage for their music.
