Jul 9, 2015, 1:39 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Google today provided developers with a new version of the Android M preview. Google says the update has the latest platform code and near-final APIs for developers to use in testing their apps on Android M. Google said it refined the Nexus system images and improved the emulator. The system images include Play Services 7.6. Some of the improvements cover WiFi and Bluetooth location performance, USB connection behaviors, and contacts/identity permissions. The new version of Android M is free for developers to download. The final build for consumers is not expected to arrive until the fall months.
