Google Maps for iOS Gains Night Mode
Aug 7, 2015, 7:00 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Google has pushed out an update to the iOS version of Google Maps and added several key features. The primary addition is night mode, which darkens the screen for navigating when driving at night. Night mode only functions/appears when navigating at nighttime. Google Maps users can now also label places to see them on the map and in search suggestions, and edit photo captions. Google Maps is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
