Update to Google Photos Adds Album Editing Features
Aug 19, 2015, 4:57 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Google today pushed out a modest update to the Google Photos app for Android devices and it brings with it several new functions. To start, Google Photos can now recognize animations created by the Google Camera app (think GIFs). Thanks to the update, users can now: log into Google Photos from Google Plus pages; reorder photos within individual albums; trim video clips to be included in movies; and enjoy the new timeline user interface for movie editing. The Google Plus compatibility is especially helpful to those who manage Google Plus pages. Google Photos for Android is free to download from the Play Store.
