Facebook Moments App Now Auto-Creates Videos
Aug 25, 2015, 12:33 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Facebook today added new support for video to its Moments photo-sharing application. This marks the first major update to the app since its June release for the iPhone. Moments will now automatically create videos for events that have more than six photos, and will even set the photos to music. People can then share the music videos just as easily as they would stand-alone images. The app adds a moment-creating tool to the main interface, as well. Other improvements include expanded support for 34 different languages, a photo upload progress bar, and general performance and bug fixes. The idea behind Facebook Moments is to make it easier for Facebook friends to share photos taken at the same event with one another by automatically creating shared albums. Moments is free to download from the iTunes App Store.
