YouTube Gaming Hits the Start Button
Aug 26, 2015, 12:57 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Google today fully launched its stand-alone YouTube Gaming site. The site features dedicated search algorithms so results focus on games. It includes landing pages for individual game franchises, and allows users to upload their gameplay, similar to Twitch. The service also supports clip highlights and lets users broadcast content easily. The YouTube Gaming web site is live, as is the dedicated mobile app for Android devices. The iOS app has yet to show up in the iTunes App Store. YouTube Gaming is free to access and use.
