Skype today pushed out a small update to its Android app that puts a media bar in the message composition tool. This way, explains Skype, users can more easily insert media such as photos or video into their conversations. Skype 6.2 for Android also contains the new Moji, announced earlier today, as well as bug fixes and performance improvements. For example, users can now see how many unread conversations they have without opening Skype; the number is displayed on the Skype app badge in the launcher. Skype is free to download from the Google Play Store.
