Google Opens Up Beta Testing for Search App
Oct 19, 2015, 12:58 PM by Eric M. Zeman

Google is inviting some Android users to join a new beta program for testing the Google Search app. Google did not call out any specific new features in the first beta release, but warned testers it may be unstable or buggy. Users can find the invitation on a card within Google Now, which lets potential beta testers sign up for the program and download the first beta. Google made it easy for testers to leave the beta program at any time if they prefer to drop back to the stable release of Google Search. Google Search, which powers Google Now, is free to download from Play Store.
